Saiju Kurup to play a police officer in Aaram

Saiju Kurup is headlining a new film titled Aaram, which will see the actor in the role of a police officer. The upcoming crime thriller, written by Vishnu Ramachandran and directed by Rajesh Parameswaran, was announced by unveiling an atmospheric motion poster on social media.

Aaram also features Siddique, Askar Ali, Sudhi Koppa, Anju Kurian, Shaheen Siddique, Dinesh Prabhakar, Gokulan, Manoj KU, Vinod Kedamangalam, Eric Adam, Meera Vasudevan, Surabhi Santhosh, Harith and Appunni Sasi in prominent roles. On the technical front, the film has cinematography by Jithu Damodar, editing by V Sajan and music by Rohit Gopalakrishnan. It is produced by Junaiz Babu under the banner of Good Hope.

Last seen in a cameo in Rahul Sadasivan-Pranav Mohanlal's horror thriller Dies Irae, Saiju's upcoming slate also includes Krishnadas Murali's second instalment of Bharathanatyam titled Mohiniyattam and Midhun Manuel Thomas's biggie Aadu 3, headlined by Jayasurya.
