Vineeth feels honoured and blissful over Eko and Sarvam Maya’s blockbuster run, shares BTS stills

Sarvam Maya has crossed ₹125 crore worldwide and is still running in theatres, while Eko is now streaming on Netflix after a ₹50 crore global theatrical run

Veteran actor Vineeth has taken to social media to express heartfelt gratitude following the strong reception of his recent films Eko and Sarvam Maya, both of which have emerged as major box-office successes for Malayalam cinema.

In an emotional post shared on Sunday, Vineeth thanked the Almighty for what he described as a “great blessing” to collaborate with the makers of the two films and to be part of projects that went on to become blockbuster hits. He also extended his appreciation to film lovers and audiences for embracing the films wholeheartedly, acknowledging the overwhelming response he received across Facebook, Instagram and in personal interactions.

The actor made special mention of the love shown towards the characters he portrayed: Mohan Pothen in Eko and Vinod Mathew Manjooran in Sarvam Maya. Describing the affection and encouragement from viewers as “unconditional love”, Vineeth said he felt honoured and blissful by the outpouring of appreciation.

Akhil Sathyan’s Sarvam Maya, starring Nivin Pauly, Riya Shibu and Aju Varghese, continues its strong theatrical run despite new releases. The film has grossed over ₹125 crore worldwide, as per the makers, with reportedly around ₹63 crore coming from India alone. Vineeth appears in a cameo role as the father of Riya’s character.

Dinjith Ayyathan’s Eko revolves around the search for a mysterious man named Kuriachan and features Vineeth alongside Sandeep Pradeep, Ashokan, Biana Momin and Saurabh Sachdeva. Shot extensively in the hills of Idukki by Bahul Ramesh, who is also the film’s writer, the mystery thriller earned widespread praise for its storytelling and technical finesse, and has crossed ₹50 crore at the global box office.

Vineeth’s post was accompanied by a carousel of behind-the-scenes stills from both sets, offering a glimpse into the veteran actor’s journey with the two projects.
