Recently, we reported about Dhanush praising director Dinjith Ayyathan's mind-bending psychological thriller Eko, starring Sandeep Pradeep, Biana Momin, Narain, and Vineeth, among others. Taking to X after the film's release, the actor wrote, "Eko the Malayalam film is a masterpiece. Actor Biana Momin deserves all the highest honours. World class performance."
A little over a month after Dhanush's Eko movie review, director Dinjith Ayyathan has met the actor. Earlier this Saturday, Dinjith shared a still featuring him with Dhanush on social media and said that it was his "privilege" to meet the actor. "Humbled by his kindness and appreciation for our work on Eko and Kishkindha Kaandam," Dinjith wrote, referring to the actor.
The filmmaker also said that Dhanush reiterated his admiration for Biana's performance in the film's central role as Mlathi Chedathi. Referring to it, the filmmaker added, "He loved Malathi Chedathi's performance, calling her an 'amazing artist' and asked 'How did you pull her into this?'"
For the uninitiated, until the release of Eko, Biana Momin was only known for her work as a teacher in Meghalaya. However, the performance in the film made her an overnight sensation, earning her space on prominent publications both nationally and internationally.
Meanwhile, Dinjith revealed that Dhanush appreciated the performance by Vijayaraghavan in Kishkindha Kaandam as well. "He asked me to convey his regards to Sandeep and Vijayaraghavan," the filmmaker wrote, referring to Dhanush's admiration for the stars of Eko and Kishkindha Kaandam, respectively.
The filmmaker ended his note by expressing his gratitude to director Rajkumar Periasamy, who is directing Dhanush's 55th film. Tentatively titled D55, the upcoming film also stars Sai Pallavi, Sreeleela, and Mammootty.
