We had earlier reported about Kunchacko Boban and Manju Warrier teaming up for a film directed by debutant Renjit Varma. The makers unveiled the film's title Nere Chovva on Saturday with an animated video. It features Kunchacko Boban as Chandran KC, "the first man on Mars", living in a space station on Mars before claiming that his next stop is the moon. A portrait featuring the younger look of Kunchacko Boban and Manju Warrier also appears in the short clip.

Nere Chovva will see the two actors, who are close friends in real life, sharing the screen for the third time after How Old Are You? and Vettah. The upcoming film is scripted by Ramesh Ranjith and Sanish Subramanyan. Nithish Sahadev, who earlier directed Falimy and the recent Tamil hit Thalaivar Thambi Thalamayil, serves as the creative producer.

The technical team includes Bablu Aju as the cinematographer and Ankit Menon as the music director. It is produced by Vinish Varghese under the banner V&V Global Productions.
