With only five days to go for the theatrical release of director Mahesh Narayanan's Patriot, the cast and crew behind the film have ramped up the promotional efforts for it. One of the main draws for the film is the star-studded ensemble cast, featuring Mammootty, Mohanlal, Fahadh Faasil, Kunchacko Boban, Nayanthara, Revathy, and Rajiv Menon, among others. Everyone from the main actors to the support cast members are eagerly awaiting the film's release, alongside the audience.

One of the cast members, Darshana Rajendran, is brimming with excitement as the Patriot release date gets ever so closer. Earlier this Sunday, Darshana took to social media, shared a photograph featuring her with her Patriot co-stars, and wrote, "I would’ve been thrilled to be part of a film with even one of these icons (or the other legends not in this frame), but getting to be in Patriot alongside ALLLL of them feels truly special. Still a fan at heart… just fangirling from a closer seat."

Darshana Rajendran also expressed her gratitude to the film's director Mahesh Narayanan for choosing her for the film. The photograph that she shared on Instagram features herself with Mammootty, Revathy, Rajiv Menon, Zarin Shihab and Kunchacko Boban.

The film stars Darshana as the partner of Kunchacko Boban's character, although the makers are yet to reveal the specifics of their relationship. The makers have already dropped a love song, titled 'Kaattu Thottappol,' featuring their characters. The recently released Patriot trailer hints at a storyline where a former corporate company employee (Mammootty) goes rogue against his employer after one of its software programs negatively impacts civilian life.
