Pathira Kurukkan, directed by Jayesh Venugopal, has commenced shooting in Ponnani. The upcoming film reunites Jagadish, Mukesh, Siddique and Ashokan, who were previously seen together as a quartet in the three instalments of the popular comedy franchise: In Harihar Nagar, 2 Harihar Nagar and In Ghost House Inn.

Jointly scripted by Sunil Karma and Nikhil Jinan, Pathira Kurukkan is billed as a comedy drama revolving around four men from different backgrounds who become trapped in an unexpected crisis and their attempts to overcome it. The supporting cast includes Nirmal Palazhi, Riyas Narmakala, Sudheer Paravoor, Kutty Akhil, Aneesh Gopal and Tessa Joseph, among others. On the technical front, the film has cinematography by Selvakumar S, editing by Atul Vijay and music by Gopi Sundar.
