The celebrations around Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra continue both on and off-screen. Cinematographer Nimish Ravi, whose stunning neon-lit visuals played a key role in shaping the fantasy epic, recently shared that lead actor Kalyani Priyadarshan had surprised him with a thoughtful gift.

Taking to social media, Nimish shared a photo of a watch on his wrist, with Kalyani seen smiling in the background in soft focus. Alongside the picture, he penned a heartfelt note: “Dear Kalyani, This one is so generous of you. Thank you so much. This colour connects me directly to Lokah and Chandra. More than anything this one will remind me that constant hardwork will always lead to good things. This movie and the people associated with it is a reminder for that. So this one is about Hardwork! :) Lots of love. ❤️”

The post has been warmly received by fans, many praising the camaraderie between the film’s team. Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra, written and directed by Dominic Arun and produced by Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films, has been a runaway success, setting box office records and striking a chord with audiences across age groups.

With the second instalment set to shift focus to Tovino Thomas’ character Chathan/Michael, the Lokah franchise is steadily shaping up into an ambitious universe rooted in Kerala’s folklore and mythology.
