Tharun Moorthy, who has directed the Mohanlal-starrer Thudarum, amongst other films, has announced a new production venture. Called as The Manifestation Studio Pvt Ltd, the production venture will also be headed by Hareendran G. Hareendran distributes films under the Sree Priya Combines banner.

Taking to social media, Tharun wrote, "THANK YOU for all the love and support you’ve given me as an artist, writer, and filmmaker. Cinema is a world of magic, and I’ve always loved living in the reality within that magic. For me, life has always been filled with nothing but stories and the power of cinema. Over time, the idea of movie production and creating lasting associations in filmmaking became a true manifestation."

He added, "For the people around me, for those who dream like me, for my family, my wife, and my children—I am stepping into the next phase of my career. As I once envisioned, I am now beginning my own production journey. In this endeavor, where I had no godfather or background to guide me, my real godfathers have always been you—the audience. With you as my witnesses, I proudly announce the launch of The Manifestation Studio Pvt Ltd."

Speaking about Hareendran, Tharun said, "I am grateful to have beside me Harichettan, who brings with him over 35 years of rich experience in the industry, and my team, who have stood firmly with me throughout. Together, we aspire to create films with depth, soul, and meaning—movies that bring happiness, pride, and lasting impact."

Tharun also announced that the first film to be worked on, under the new banner, will be Operation Cambodia, a sequel to the director's own Operation Java. Prithviraj Sukumaran will headline the film, the cast of which sees the return of some of the original members like Balu Varghese, Lukman Avaran, Binu Pappu, Alexander Prasanth, and Irshad Ali.
