The first look of the Asif Ali-starrer Tiki Taka was unveiled on Thursday through social media. The poster shows seven silhouetted figures, four men and three women, armed with guns and weapons as they advance through a smoky urban backdrop.

Sharing the first look, Asif captioned the post: “It’s time for the Absolute Cinema! The first look of Tiki Taka is here. Wreathed in red, restored to this great gallery of the game. For real, for real, heroes pass the ball.” Set for a Christmas release, the film is directed by Rohith VS, marking his third collaboration with Asif after Adventures of Omanakuttan and Ibilis.

Billed as an action-heavy spectacle, Tiki Taka also stars Naslen, Wamiqa Gabbi, Lukman Avaran and Sanchana Natarajan in pivotal roles. The film is scripted by Niyog from a story penned by Packiaraj. Its technical crew includes cinematographer Sony Seba, Lokah editor Chaman Chakko and KGF composer Ravi Basrur.

Tiki Taka is jointly produced by T-Series Films, Panorama Studios, Vellmade Productions and Adventure Company. The film's production began in 2023 but was temporarily halted following an injury sustained by Asif during shooting. He plays a character named John Denver.

Asif was last seen in Jeethu Joseph’s Mirage, alongside Aparna Balamurali. Rohith previously helmed the critically acclaimed actioner Kala, headlined by Tovino Thomas.
