Earlier today, MMMN producer Anto Joseph spoke to Manorama News regarding Mammootty's comeback to the film's set after a gap of seven months, as well as the path for the film going forward. Anto said that everyone asked about Mammootty's comeback at all production locations of MMMN. "I cannot put it in words how happy I feel about his comeback," said Anto. "He is someone who desires to do more such characters," the producer added. After he came back on the set and interacted with the media, Mammootty was seen in a jovial mood as he talked to the film's director Mahesh Narayanan. Anto also revealed that they plan to shoot the film in Hyderabad for a week, followed by a nine-day-long schedule in the UK from October 15 onwards, as well as a schedule featuring Mohanlal, Fahadh Faasil, Kunchacko Boban, and Nayanthara in Ernakulam on November first week. "We plan to complete the shoot by December 15 and release the film in April, around Vishu," he said.
Darshana Rajendran and Revathy are also part of the cast for the political espionage thriller. Recently, Mohanlal disclosed that the film has been titled Patriot, but its producers are yet to confirm the same. Anto is producing the film along with CR Salim and Subhash Manuel.
On the technical front, the film has Dunki fame Manush Nandan as the cinematographer.
