Rajasree, known for her role as a Yakshi in director Rajasenan's 2001 film Meghasandesam, recently praised Kalyani Priyadarshan and Dominic Arun's latest industry hit Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra. Rajasree was speaking to Ginger Media Entertainments about the growing importance for films with female lead actors in Malayalam cinema, citing Lokah and Urvashi-Parvathy Thiruvothu's Ullozhukku as examples. The actor, also known for playing Suhara in Ravanaprabhu, said that Kalyani's performance in the film amazed her. "I have already worked with her in Telugu. I did two films with her there," the actor said about Kalyani. She added that Lokah features Kalyani in a role that is quite unlike the person she knew before. "I know how she is. She is a very soft person. But when I suddenly saw Lokah, I was like 'Wow!' It is good to see her in such a character. A kick*** Yakshi."

Rajasree is coming to Malayalam cinema for the first time after 2015's Jamna Pyari with a role in Vilayath Buddha, starring Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead. Explaining her long break from Malayalam cinema, the actor said that she did not get any good offers from the industry for all these years.
