Team Pallichattambi has wrapped a major production schedule for the film in Thodupuzha. The other day, the film's makers shared the update, writing, "Major schedule finished. We extend our gratitude to the entire team for their relentless hard work. Advancing to the next step." The next production schedule of the film, starring Tovino Thomas and Kayadu Lohar in the lead roles as well as directed by Dijo Jose Antony of Jana Gana Mana fame, is set to start in Mysore by mid-November.

Described as a period drama, the film went on floors in June this year. Dijo is directing it from a screenplay by S Suresh Babu, known for his work in films such as Dada Sahib, Shikkar, Nadan, Kanal and Oruthee.

Pallichattambi's cast also includes Vijayaraghavan, Johny Antony, Sudheer Karamana, TG Ravi, Sreejith Ravi, Vinod Kedamangalam, and Prashanth Alexander, among others. Noufal is producing the so-called "big-budget film" alongside his Worldwide Films partner Brijesh. CCC Brothers and Tanseer Salam are also part of the production team. The film is set against the backdrop of migrant farming communities in the high ranges of Kerala in the late 1950s.

On the technical front, it has music by Jakes Bejoy, Tijo Tomy's cinematography, Sreejith Sarang's editing, and Dileep Nath's art direction. The makers launched the film earlier this February, six years following its announcement.
