Sharaf U Dheen's new film was announced on Saturday, the occasion of Kerala Piravi. Debutant Vijish is directing the film, produced by Maqtro Motion Pictures in association with Anvika's Movie House. Vijish has scripted the film jointly with Aby Treesa Paul, who earlier co-directed Arjun Ashokan's Member Rameshan 9aam Ward and Shane Nigam's Little Hearts.
The upcoming film has cinematography by Madhu Neelakandan, music by Hesham Abdul Wahab, editing by Sooraj ES, and sound design by Vishnu Govind. Planned to be released in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada, this yet-to-be-titled film will go on floors soon and release in 2026.
Sharaf U Dheen is currently basking in the success of his recent release, The Pet Detective, which is also his maiden commercial production venture. The quirky comedy-thriller directed by debutant Praneesh Viayan has emerged as a sleeper hit at the box office.
Sharaf next has Madhuvidhu, a fun family entertainer, lined up for release. Vishnu Aravind is directing the film, which features debutante Kalyani Panicker, daughter of actor Bindu Panicker, as the female lead.
Sharaf is also part of the upcoming Nivin Pauly-B Unnikrishnan film, which is said to be a political drama.
