The teaser of Dhyan Sreenivasan's upcoming film Oru Vadakkan Therottam was released on Saturday. The 53-second long teaser begins with a scene featuring Dhyan's character and his auto driver friends enjoying a drinking session. As per the makers, the film is about a young man compelled to work as an autorickshaw driver after graduation. The teaser also suggests that the protagonist is in a financial crisis after investing in a business. Dilina Ramakrishnan, who was earlier seen in Dileep's Pavi Caretaker and Suraj Venjaramoodu's ED-Extra Decent, plays the female lead.

Oru Vadakkan Therottam is directed by Binun Raj, who earlier made Vishnu Unnikrishnan's Nithyaharitha Nayakan. Scripted by Sanu Ashok, the upcoming film also stars Malavika C Menon, Tanu Devi, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Sudheer Paravoor, and Rajesh Keshav. It has cinematography by Pavi K Pavan, editing by Jithin DK, and music by veteran Berny of Berny-Ignatius and his son Tanson. It is produced by Open Arts Creation in association with Suriya S Cinema and Vivox Movie House.

Dhyan was most recently seen in Detective Ujjawalan, a thriller. His upcoming slate includes Thug, Bro Code, and Ideem Minnalum. He will also be seen in supporting roles in Fahadh Faasil's Odum Kuthira Chadum Kuthira and Dileep's Bha Bha Ba.
