With Thudarum entering its second week of blockbuster theatrical run, its makers released a new success trailer on Saturday. Unlike the original trailer, this new 2.09-minute-long version pretty much gives away everything about the film's plot, mood and treatment. The makers, this time, have put more emphasis on the thrills, action and high moments.

Directed by Tharun Moorthy, Thudarum is about a common man named Shanmugham aka Benz, whose life is turned upside down by a couple of ruthless policemen. Celebrated ad filmmaker Prakash Varma makes his acting debut by playing the prime antagonist in this film. His performance as CI George has been one of the biggest talking points ever since the film's release. Binu Pappu plays the other villain named Benny. Notably, he is also the film's co-director. Shobana, Farhaan Faasil, Mathew Thomas, Maniyanpilla Raju, Bharathiraja, and Irshad play other main roles in the film.

Thudarum is co-written by Tharun and KR Sunil based on the latter's story. It has cinematography by Shaji Kumar, music by Jakes Bejoy and edits handled by Shafeeque VB and the late Nishadh Yusuf. The film produced by M Renjith has already grossed over Rs 100 crores from its worldwide run.
