The banner Pauly Jr Pictures of Dear Students announced the completion of production on its film, starring Nivin Pauly and Nayanthara, a while ago through social media. The production banner shared a making video containing footage from the packup party, where the film's cast and crew can be seen cutting a cake. The film, which brings Nivin and Nayanthara back together after 2019's Love Action Drama, is written and directed by Sandeep Kumar and George Philip Roy in their debut venture. The makers, Vineet Jain of Maverik Movies and Pauly Jr Pictures, are yet to announce any details about the film's plot. Going by the making video and hashtags, the cast also includes Suresh Krishna, Mallika Sukumaran, Jagadish, Redin Kingsley, Aju Varghese, Sharaf U Dheen, Lal, Shaju Sreedhar, Johny Antony, Edavela Babu, and Nandu.

On the technical front, it has cinematography by Shinoz Shamsudheen of Footage fame and editing by Lal Krishna. Composers Justin Varghese and Christy Joby are also part of the project, but the makers are yet to reveal who among them is handling background music and songs.
