The makers of the Rajesh Madhavan-starrer Dheeran have unveiled the film's trailer. Scheduled to hit theatres on July 4, it marks the directorial debut of Devadath Shaji, who co-wrote the Mammootty-starrer Bheeshma Parvam.

The 2-minute-15-second trailer of Dheeran opens with Panchayat President Abbas (Jagadish) addressing an audience and praising Eldose (Rajesh), describing him as a brave man. In contrast, we see Eldose fleeing in the night from someone. Eldose is then shown speaking about himself, saying that he became brave at the age of 12 but is now, at 30, a scumbag. We soon learn that he works as a driver for a local private bus. The trailer also introduces supporting characters played by veteran actors Ashokan, Manoj K Jayan, and Vineeth, among others, through lively glimpses of Eldose facing tough situations alongside this senior ensemble. The film promises to be an entertaining comedy thriller.

Dheeran also stars Sudheesh, Sidharth Bharathan, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Indumathy Manikandan, Shabareesh Varma, Srikrishna Dayal, and Aswathy Manoharan. The film's technical crew includes cinematographer Harikrishnan Lohithadas, editor Finn George Varghese, and composer Mujeeb Majeed. It is produced by Lakshmi Warrier and Ganesh Menon under the Cheers Entertainments banner, known for backing films such as Vikrithi, Jan.E.Man, Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey, and Falimy.
