The second season of JioHotstar's Kerala Crime Files (KCF) is set to stream on June 20. Meanwhile, its trailer was released on Saturday. Just like the first part, the second season also promises a mystery thriller, centered around a missing man. Veteran actor Indrans plays a civil police officer named Ambili Raju, whose missing the series pivots around.

Arjun Radhakrishnan, noted for his roles in Pada, Dear Friend, Kannur Squad, and the Hindi series Rocket Boys, heads the new season of KCF2. Returning cast members include Aju Varghese, Lal, Sanju Sanichen, and Navas Vallikunnu. Harisree Ashojan, Renjith Shekar, Suresh Babu, Noorin Shereef, Jeo Baby, Shibla Fara, and Bilas Chandrahasan are the other new additions.

KCF 2 is directed by Ahammed Khabeer, who helmed the first season as well. It is scripted by Bahul Ramesh, who wrote and handled the camera for last year's acclaimed thriller, Kishkindhaa Kaandam. Cinematographer Jithin Stanislaus, music composer Hesham Abdul Wahab, and editor Mahesh Bhuvanend, all of whom were part of the first season, have been retained.
