Veteran actor Jagadish has joined the cast of Kattalan, the upcoming film headlined by Antony Varghese. The announcement was made by the makers through social media, accompanied by a poster captioned: “Welcoming Mr. Consistent – Jagadeesh to the world of ‘KATTALAN’.” This marks another collaboration between Jagadish and producer Shareef Muhammed, who previously worked together on Marco.

Kattalan, directed by debutant Paul George, is billed as a high-octane action thriller. The film also features Telugu actor Sunil and Marco antagonist Kabir Duhan Singh in key roles. The film, produced under the banner of Cubes Entertainments, is slated for release in five languages—Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi. Its technical team includes cinematographer Renadive, editor Shameer Muhammed and composer B Ajaneesh Loknath, best known for his work in the Kannada blockbuster Kantara.

Jagadish was last seen in the Asif Ali-starrer Aabhyanthara Kuttavaali, directed by newcomer Sethunath Padmakumar.
