Aghosham, featuring Narain and Vijayaraghavan, was launched in Palakkad with a traditional pooja ceremony, attended by the film's cast and crew. It is written and directed by Amal K Joby, who previously helmed Gumasthan. He has also served as a co-writer on the Anoop Menon-starrer Banking Hours 10 to 4.

Aghosham also stars Jaise Jose, Aju Varghese, Johny Antony, Bobby Kurian, Shaju Sreedhar, Rony David Raj, Srikant Murali, Kottayam Ramesh, Renji Panicker and Rosmin Thadathil, among others. On the technical front, the film has cinematography by Rojo Thomas, editing by Donmax and music by Stephen Devassy. It is jointly produced by Lizy K Fernandez and Dr Prince Prosi Austria & team under the banner of CN Global Movies. Lizy, who penned the story of the film, is also co-directing Aghosham.

Narain's upcoming slate also includes Bibin Krishna's Sahasam. In Tamil, he is also part of actor-politician Vijay's final film Jana Nayagan and Train, directed by Mysskin.

Vijayaraghavan was last seen in Daveed, headlined by Antony Varghese Pepe.
