Actors Saafboi and Amith Mohan, who both were part of last year's Vaazha, are set to play the lead roles in Oru Startup Kadha. The film was launched on Tuesday with a pooja ceremony. Debutant Hemanth Kumar is directing the film, based on Harish Kumar V's story. The two have co-written the screenplay, with George Kora credited for the additional screenplay and dialogues. George is the co-writer of Njandukalude Naatil Oridavela and director of Thirike, Tholvi FC and the upcoming zombie film Jambi.

Oru Startup Kadha marks the debut of Nayanthara Chakravarthy as a female lead. She is noted for her performances as a child artist in films like Kilukkam Kilukilukkam, Loudspeaker, and Trivandrum Lodge. The upcoming film has filmmaker Jude Anthany Joseph playing the antagonist role. Rony David and Harshitha Peradi also star in it.

Oru Startup Kadha's technical crew includes cinematographer Shyal Satheesh and editor Praveen Prabhakar. The film is backed by Zee Studios, Beingu Studios and Story Book in association with Travancore Studios. The makers have planned to commence shooting on July 25.
