Maine Pyar Kiya starring Hridhu Haroon and Preity Mukhundhan gets release date

The release date for the romantic comedy Maine Pyar Kiya, which stars Hridhu Haroon and Preity Mukhundhan in the lead, has been revealed by the makers. The film directed by Fazil Faziludeen, in his directorial debut, will be released on August 29, on the occasion of Onam.

Previous posters for the film revealed its characters covered in blood and with different weapons, seemingly anticipating a conflict.

BLKFZL is writing the film with director Fazil Faziludeen. Music for Maine Pyar Kiya is composed by Electronic Kili, with background score by Mihraj Khalid, and lyrics by Muthu. The crew also includes Don Paul P as the director of photography, Kannan Mohan as the editor, Sunil Kumaran as the art director, and Kalai Kingston handling stunts. Sanju Unnithan is producing the film, with Binu Nair as the executive producer. Spire Productions is producing and distributing Maine Pyar Kiya.

Hridhu who has starred in All We Imagine as Light and Mura, will be seen in Texas Tiger. Preity was recently seen in Kannappa, alongside Vishnu Manchu, Mohan Babu, Kajal Agarwal, Prabhas, Mohanlal, and Akshay Kumar. She will be seen alongside Atharvaa in Idhayam Murali. The film's title is a nod to Atharvaa's father, Murali's, character in the 1991 film Idhayam.
