Get-Set Baby, Unni Mukundan's next after the blockbuster Marco, will be released in Kerala by Aashirvad Cinemas. Antony Perumbavoor, who heads the banner, wrote on social media that he is "proud to be associated with a film that promises to be an exciting addition to Malayalam cinema." The film is directed by Vinay Govind, who earlier made Kili Poyi (2013) and Kohinoor (2015).

Billed as a comedy-drama, Get-Set Baby has Unni playing an IVF specialist. In an earlier conversation with us, Unni said it's a "family-oriented film", which youngsters over 30 would also be able to connect with. "Since similar subjects about the struggles of childless couples have already been told from a woman's perspective, we have tried to narrate it from a male perspective," he added.

Nikhila Vimal plays the female lead in the film, which also stars Chemban Vinod Jose, Johny Antony, Meera Vasudevan, Shyam Mohan, Surabhi Lakshmi, Muthumani, Sudheesh, Punya Elizabeth, Dinesh Prabhakar, Fara Shibla, Bhagath Manuel and Jewel Mary, among others. It is jointly penned by debutant Anoop Ravindran and Y V Rajesh, who previously scripted films like Gulumaal (2009) and Romans (2013).

Get-Set Baby's technical crew includes cinematographer Alex J Pulickal, editor Arju Benn, and music director Sam CS.
