The makers of Khalid Rahman’s upcoming boxing-themed comedy Alappuzha Gymkhana have revealed the character poster of Franco Francis as Shifas Ali. In the poster, Franco strikes an intense boxing pose, dressed in a blue boxing outfit paired with white hand wraps, exuding a determined and focused demeanour.

Alappuzha Gymkhana features Naslen, Lukman, Ganapathi, and Anagha Ravi in leading roles. The film's supporting cast includes Falimy-fame Sandeep Pradeep, rapper Baby Jean, Shiva Hariharan, Shon Joy, Karthik, Nanda Nishanth, and Noila Francy. On the technical front, it reunites Khalid Rahman with cinematographer Jimshi Khalid and composer Vishnu Vijay, alongside the late editor Nishadh Yusuf, all of whom previously collaborated on the blockbuster Thallumaala (2022).

Alappuzha Gymkhana is produced by Khalid, Jobin George, Sameer Karat, and Subeesh Kannachery under the banners of Plan B Motion Pictures and Reelistic Studios.

Franco, who made his debut in Girish A D’s Thanneermathan Dinangal (2019), was last seen in the Meera Jasmine-starrer Palum Pazhavum (2024).
