Shahi Kabir's sophomore directorial starring Roshan Mathew and Dileesh Pothan has been titled Ronth. The tagline 'The streets never sleep, and neither do our night patrol officers', hint that the film is about cops on night patrolling duty. The first look features Roshan as a constable and Dileesh as his superior, peeking curiously through a window.

Rajesh Madhavan, Sudhi Koppa, Arun Cherukavil, Lakshmi Menon, Krisha Kurup and Roshan Abdul Rahoof also star in the film. It has music by Anil Johnson, cinematography by Manesh Madhavan, and editing by Praveen Mangalath. The film is produced by Vineeth Jain, Rathish Ambat, Renjith EVM and Jojo Jose under the banner of Festival Cinemas and Junglee Pictures.

Ronth is Shahi's fifth police story after scripting Joseph, Nayattu, the recent Kunchacko Boban-starrer Officer On Duty, and his directorial debut Ela Veezha Poonchira.
