Madhav Suresh, Saiju Kurup and Shine Tom Chacko starrer Ankam Attahasam goes on floors

Madhav Suresh, Saiju Kurup, and Shine Tom Chacko are headlining Ankam Attahasam, which recently commenced shooting in Thiruvananthapuram. Billed as a gangster thriller set in "the blood-stained streets" of the city, the film explores a battle between truth and survival, according to the makers. It is directed by Sujith S Nair, who previously helmed the Maqbool Salmaan-starrer Oru Korean Padam (2014).

Ankam Attahasam is jointly scripted by Sujith and Anil Kumar G, who is also producing the film under the banner of Triani Productions. It also features Maqbool, Nandu, Alencier Ley Lopez, M A Nishad, Swaswika and Sibi Thomas in prominent roles. On the technical front, Ankam Attahasam has cinematography by Sivan S Sangeeth, editing by Aju Ajay, music by Sreekumar and background score by Sam C S.

Madhav’s forthcoming projects include debutant Pravin Narayanan's JSK, headlined by his actor-politician father Suresh Gopi and Anupama Parameswaran, and Gaganachari director Arun Chandu's zombie film Vala, alongside his brother Gokul Suresh and Aju Varghese.

Shine’s upcoming projects include Mohanlal's L2: Empuraan, slated for release on March 27, and Mammootty's Bazooka, scheduled to hit theatres on April 10. He is also part of Soothravakyam, co-starring Vincy Aloshious and Deepak Parambol, as well as the Kathir-starrer Meesha. In Tamil cinema, he is part of Ajith's next film Good Bad Ugly, also set for release on April 10.

Saiju was last seen in the Antony Varghese-starrer Daveed.
