Bha Bha Ba's SJ Suryah cameo and Day 8 box office collection revealed

The film marks SJ Suryah's debut in Malayalam cinema

Even amid the new Christmas releases in Malayalam, including Mohanlal's Vrusshabha and Nivin Pauly's Sarvam Maya, the Dileep starrer Bha Bha Ba maintained a net collection on Thursday that is consistent with the last four days. According to Sacnilk, the film has been having a net collection of 0.97 crore from theatres so far this Thursday. On Wednesday, it earned 1.05 crore net from cinemas, according to the industry tracker's data. So far, it has earned a net collection of 20.67 crore from theatres in India. The data also shows that the film grossed 40 crore at the global box office after the first seven days of its release.

According to the data by Sacnilk, the film has been having an occupancy rate of 32.21 per cent so far on Christmas Day, a significant improvement from the last few days. It remains to be seen whether Bha Bha Ba's box collection will improve over the coming days, a crucial period that will play a role in determining its commercial fate.

The film, directed by Dhananjay Shankar, also stars Mohanlal, Dhyan Sreenivasan, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Ashokan, Devan, and Baiju Santhosh, among others. It also has a cameo performance by SJ Suryah, which the makers kept a secret until earlier today. The film marks SJ Suryah's debut in Malayalam cinema. Announcing his cameo through social media earlier today, the film's makers wrote, "Mad was just the beginning. Madder is the journey. A world of madness incomplete without SJ Suryah. Welcome to Mollywood." The filmmaker-actor shared the post and wrote that the film is "running successfully and receiving great response." He added, "Feeling so happy and grateful to be part of this project."
