Actor assault case: Survivor says 'stop fake narratives, let me live' amid Bha Bha Ba's release

The actor's statement comes shortly after she shared her side of the story

After sharing her side of the story following the verdict in the actor assault case, the survivor has once again put out a strong statement against those who continue to peddle fake narratives against her. She suggested that there are still people claiming that it was her "mistake" to file a police complaint in relation to the 2017 actor abduction and assault case. "I should have considered it my bad fate and kept quiet about it, only for the video to surface and for people to question me for not registering a complaint with the police then and there itself and for me to commit suicide without knowing how to answer to those allegations," the actor wrote. The actor also claimed that the second accused, Martin Antony, made a video before his 20-year sentence. "He should have said that I myself made my nude video," the actor wrote, referring to the second accused.

She then went on to ask people who spread such narratives to stop doing so. "I hope the same situation does not happen to you and your family," the survivor wrote.

At the end of the post, she described herself as "a simple human being" and not "a victim or a survivor," as everyone calls her. "Let me live," she concluded.

The actor's statements come hot on the heels of the Dileep starrer Bha Bha Ba's release. For the uninitiated, Dileep was named the eight accused in the case and was acquitted by the Ernakulam District and Sessions Court.
