Following the completion of censoring formalities, the makers of Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra have announced that its trailer will be out on Sunday evening. A trailer launch event has been planned in Kochi, which is expected to be attended by the cast and crew members.

Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra is written and directed by Dominic Arun, who debuted with Tharangam. The upcoming fantasy entertainer is supposedly the first chapter of a potential franchise. While Kalyani Priyadarshan and Naslen headline the first part, more big names are expected to star in the upcoming installments.

Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra also stars Chandu Salimkumar, Arun Kurian, Tamil actor-choreographer Sandy, Vijayaraghavan, Raghunath Paleri, Sarath Saba, Nithya Shri, and Nishanth Sagar. Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films is producing the film, which will also have dubbed versions in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.

The film will hit screens on August 28, directly clashing with Mohanlal-Sathyan Anthikad’s Hridayapoorvam. This year's Onam theatrical releases include Fahadh Faasil's Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira, also starring Kalyani, and Maine Pyar Kiya, headlined by Hridhu Haroon and Preity Mukhundhan, both scheduled for August 29.
