Mirage teaser: Asif Ali-Aparna Balamurali-Jeethu Joseph's film promises an intriguing mystery thriller

On Sunday, the makers of the Asif Ali-Aparna Balamurali starrer Mirage, directed by Jeethu Joseph, unveiled the film’s teaser. The film also features Sampath, Hannah Reji Koshy, and Hakim Shahjahan in prominent roles.

The teaser opens with Asif unlocking a locker that contains a box and a document. In the following shot, Aparna opens another locker, only to find it empty. The third shot shows both Asif and Aparna returning to the first locker, where they once again discover the box and document, which Asif takes. What follows are suspenseful glimpses of the duo, including a tense moment where Asif warns a frightened Aparna that she is in serious trouble. The teaser also offers brief glimpses of the characters played by Sampath, Hannah and Hakim. The film promises to be an intriguing mystery thriller with Jeethu’s unmistakable signature.

Mirage is jointly scripted by Jeethu and Srinivas Abrol, based on a story by Aparna R Tarakad. On the technical front, the film reunites Jeethu with his frequent collaborators: cinematographer Satheesh Kurup, editor Vinayak VS and music director Vishnu Shyam. The trio are also part of Jeethu’s upcoming project Valathu Vashathe Kallan, featuring Joju George and Biju Menon, which recently wrapped filming.

Mirage is produced by Mukesh R Mehta, Jatin M Sethi and C V Sarathi under the banner of E4 Entertainment.
