Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra will be released in Tamil Nadu by AGS Cinemas, a popular production and distribution company, known for backing hit Tamil films like Thani Oruvan, Bigil, Love Today, The Greatest of All Time (The GOAT), and Dragon. Lokah, starring Kalyani Priyadarshan and Naslen, is gearing up for Onam release, though the makers are yet to confirm an exact date. It is produced by Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films.

Directed by Tharangam-fame Arun Dominic, Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra is a fantasy adventure film, planned as the first instalment of a potential cinematic universe. From the promos released so far, Kalyani seems to be playing a superhero-like figure in it. Actors Arun Kurian, Chandu Salimkumar, Sandy, Vijayaraghavan, Raghunath Paleri, Sarath Saba, Nithya Shri, and Nishanth Sagar are also part of the cast. The film reportedly features some other star cameos, but the makers have not yet announced it.

Director Dominic Arun is scripting the film with actor Santhy Balachandran credited for additional screenplay and dramaturgy. The technical team comprises cinematographer Nimish Ravi, editor Chaman Chakko, production designer Banglan, and action choreographer Yannick Ben.
