The team behind Padakkalam, starring Suraj Venjaramoodu and Sharafudheen in the lead, unveiled the video of the song titled 'Raahukaalam' on Sunday. The track is composed by Rajesh Murugesan, best known for his work in Premam, with lyrics by Vinayak Sasikumar. It features vocals by music director Shaan Rahman and Suroor Musthafa.

Padakkalam, directed by first-time filmmaker Manu Swaraj, is set to release in cinemas on May 2. The film, co-written by Manu and Nithin C Babu, also stars Sandeep Pradeep, Niranjana Anoop, Saaf, Arun Pradeep and Arun Ajikumar. The technical team includes cinematographer Anu Moothedath and editor Nidhin Raj Arol. Vijay Babu and Vijay Subramaniam are producing it under the banners of Friday Film House and 29 September Works.

Sharafudheen also has debutant Praneesh Vijayan Pet Detective, in which he reunites with his Premam co-star Anupama Parameswaran, as part of his upcoming slate.

Suraj, last seen in a cameo in the Aju Varghese-starrer Padakuthira, will also be seen playing a key role in Tovino Thomas' Narvietta, scheduled for release on May 16.
