On Sunday, the makers of Asif Ali’s Sarkeet released the video of the first single from the film, titled 'Jeppu Song'. Composed by Govind Vasantha and penned by Suhail Koya, the track has vocals by Electronic Kili. The song focuses on the character played by child actor Orhan and his parents, portrayed by Divya Prabha and Deepak Parambol.

Sarkeet, written and directed by 1001 Nunakal-fame Thamar K V, has been shot entirely in the UAE. The film also features Remya Suresh, Prashanth Alexander, Swathi Das Prabhu and Zhins Shan in supporting roles. On the technical front, it has cinematography by Aeyaz and editing by Premalu actor Sangeeth Prathap. Produced by Ajith Vinayaka Films, Sarkeet is scheduled for theatrical release on May 8.
