Sagar Surya, Johny Antony, Abu Salim, and a few others are headlining Derby, a new film announced on Saturday. The film is directed by Sajl Mampad, while it's scripted by Zehru and Ameer. It is based on a story written by Fahiz Bin Rifai and Semeer Khan.

Derby also stars Harisree Ashokan, Pani-fame Junaiz VP, Bobby Kurian,

Sreeja Ravi, Nirmal Palazhi, Fahiz Bin Rifai, and social media talents Anu, Ameen, and rapper Rish NK who shot to fame with the viral song 'Beevi'.

The film has cinematography by Jazin Jaseel, music by Ashwin Aryan, and editing by Jerin Kaithacodu. It is produced by Manzour Abdul Razac.

Sagar Surya, last seen as one of the villains in Pani, is also part of the upcoming Indrajith Sukumaran-starrer Dheeram. He is also playing one of the leads in Prakambanam, also starring Ganapathi and Ameen.
