The makers of Pennu Case announced on social media that production on the Nikhila Vimal starrer has been wrapped. The film, which marks the directorial debut of Febin Sidharth, went on floors in Mysore this February. Febin directed the film from a screenplay he wrote alongside Reshmi Radhakrishnan. Jyothish M, Sunu V and Ganesh Malayath are credited for additional screenplay and dialogues.

Pennu Case also stars Hakim Shahjahan, Ramesh Pisharody, Irshad Ali, and Aju Varghese. Cinematographer Shinoz, composer Ankit Menon, and editor Sarin Ramakrishnan are part of the technical team. Mukesh R Mehta, Rajesh Krishna, and CV Sarathi produce the film under the banners E4 Experiments and London Talkies. The makers are yet to reveal specific details about the film's plot and characters.

Nikhila was most recently seen in Get-Set Baby, opposite Unni Mukundan.
