Manjummel Boys actor Ganapathi and Pani-fame Sagar Surya are headlining a new Malayalam horror comedy titled Prakambanam, helmed by Nadikalil Sundari Yamuna co-director Vijesh Panathur. On Friday, the makers unveiled the film's title poster. Scripted by Sreehari Vadakkan from a story penned by Vijesh, it also stars Ameen, Mallika Sukumaran, Azees Nedumangad, P P Kunhikrishnan, Aneesh Gopal and Sanesh Guinness in prominent roles.

The illustrated poster of Prakambanam shows a men's hostel with glowing magical elements in a nighttime atmosphere. On the technical front, the film has cinematography by Alby Antony, editing by Sooraj E S and art direction by Subhash Karun. It is produced by Sreejith, Sudhish and Blessy under the banners of Navarasa Films and Lakshmikanth Creations.

Meanwhile, Ganapathi will be seen next in Khalid Rahman's sports comedy Alappuzha Gymkhana, starring Naslen in the lead. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on April 10 as a Vishu release.

On the other hand, Sagar's upcoming slate also includes Tom Emmatty's Perunnal, led by Vinayakan and Shine Tom Chacko, and the Indrajith Sukumaran-starrer Dheeram.
