On Sunday, the makers of the Asif Ali-starrer Kishkindha Kaandam dropped a single titled 'Three Wise Monkeys'. The song, penned by Shyam Muraleedharan, is sung by Sathyaprakash and Mujeeb Majeed, who also composed the track. The film, directed by Dinjith Ayyathan, was released on September 12 to widespread acclaim from critics and common audiences alike. It also features Vijayaraghavan and Aparna Balamurali in the lead roles.

Kishkindha Kaandam is scripted by Bahul Ramesh, who also served as the cinematographer. The film also stars Jagadish, Ashokan, Nishan, Vyshnavi Raj, Major Ravi, Nizhalgal Ravi, Shebin Benson, Kottayam Ramesh, Bilas Chandrahasan, Master Aarav, and Jibin Gopinath in prominent roles. Its technical crew includes editor Sooraj E S and art director Sajeesh Thamarassery.

An excerpt from the CE review of Kishkindha Kaandam reads, "What makes Dinjith’s film unique as a beast of its own is its ability to blend this poignant drama with a carefully crafted mystery that does not follow the typical conventions of a whodunit, while still keeping us on the edge with a steady stream of surprises."
