The second look poster of Jofin T Chacko’s Rekhachithram, headlined by Asif Ali, was unveiled on Sunday. The poster, which bears the tagline "An Alternate History," features Asif Ali in the role of a police officer, with filmmaking tools from the 1980s visible in the background. Jofin is known for making his directorial debut with the 2021 film The Priest, a horror thriller headlined by Mammootty and Manju Warrier.
Rekhachithram also stars Anaswara Rajan, Manoj K Jayan, Siddique, Indrans, Zarin Shihab, Bhama Arun, Megha Thomas, Nishanth Sagar, Harisree Ashokan, Sreekanth Murali, Sudhi Kopa, Priyanka, Jagadish, Saikumar, Nandu, Vijay Menon, TG Ravi, Sreejith Ravi, and Pauly Wilson, among others. The film's screenplay has been penned by John Manthrikal, based on a story by Jofin and Ramu Sunil. On the technical side, it has cinematographer Appu Prabhakar, editor Shameer Muhammed and Kishkindha Kaandam music director Mujeeb Majeed.
Rekhachithram is produced jointly by Venu Kunnappilly’s Kavya Film Company and Anto Joseph’s Ann Mega Media.
Asif Ali was last seen in Dinjith Ayyathan’s Kishkindha Kaandam, released on September 12 to widespread acclaim from critics and common audiences alike. The actor’s upcoming projects also include debutant Sethunath Padmakumar’s Abhyanthara Kuttavali, Rohith VS’ Tiki Taka, an untitled film with 1001 Nunakal director Thamar KV, and a sequel to Thalavan, directed by Jis Joy.
