The makers of Amal Neerad's Bougainvillea unveiled a new poster on Thursday through their social media handles. The poster features Fahadh Faasil, Kunchacko Boban, and Jyothirmayi, all dressed in black attire against a red and white background.

Bougainvillea also stars Sharafudheen, Veena Nandakumar and Srinda in prominent roles. Interestingly, except for Kunchacko Boban, all other actors have previously worked with Amal Neerad. The film also marks the return of Jyothirmayi, Amal Neerad's wife, after a hiatus of more than a decade. It is jointly scripted by novelist Lajo Jose and Amal, while Bheeshma Parvam-fame R J Murugan has penned the additional dialogues.

Bougainvillea is backed by Jyothirmayi and Kunchacko Boban under the banners of Amal Neerad Productions and Udaya Pictures respectively. The director has retained almost the same technical crew from his previous outing for the upcoming film, including cinematographer Anend C Chandran, editor Vivek Harshan and composer Sushin Shyam.
