The title and the first look of Mammootty's upcoming film, helmed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, will be out on September 7 on the occasion of the veteran actor's 73rd birthday. It is produced by the actor's home banner Mammootty Kampany, who took to social media to announce the latest update.

Billed as a comedy investigation thriller, the film features Mammootty as a fun-filled private detective on the lines of Sherlock Holmes, as revealed earlier to CE by one of its writers Neeraj, who is scripting it along with his brother Sooraj. The duo had earlier co-written ABCD (2013) and worked on the additional screenplay of Iratta (2023).

The upcoming film, marking Gautham's directorial debut in Malayalam, also features Gokul Suresh, Lena, Siddique, Vijay Babu, and Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum-fame Viji Venkatesh in prominent roles. On the technical front, Gautham has retained his previous collaborators, including his regular editor Anthony, cinematographer Vishnu Dev, one of the DOPs of Dhruva Natchathiram, and composer Darbuka Siva, known for his work in the director's 2019 film Enai Noki Paayum Thota.
