Bad Boyz makers dropped a new trailer that gives a sneak peek into the eccentric characters in the comedy film from director Omar Lulu. Leading the cast is Rahman. In an earlier conversation with CE, Rahman said that his character in the film is a person who wants to be a serious goon but does not know how to. The actor described him as a flamboyant character with a sense of humour similar to Mammootty's Kottayam Kunjachan. Further speaking about the film, he said, "It has been a while since I have done a comedy, and Omar Lulu’s film is a comic caper. It is a refreshing change of pace for me. I am looking forward to seeing how it goes."

The cast of Bad Boyz also includes Bibin George, Senthil Krishna, Anson Paul, Bala, Tini Tom, Sheelu Abraham, Dhyan Sreenivasan, and Babu Antony.

Sarang Jayaprakash created the screenplay from a story by Omar Lulu himself.

On the technical front, the film has cinematography by Alby, music by William Francis, and editing by Dilip Dennis.

Producer Abraham Mathew of Abaam Movies plans to release the film in theatres this Onam.
