The much-delayed Naslen-Girish AD film I Am Kathalan has finally been confirmed for release on November 7. It is the actor-director duo's fourth collaboration after Thaneer Mathan Dinangal, Super Sharanya and Premalu. Though I Am Kathalan went on floors much before Premalu, the film's production got delayed due to some unknown reasons.

It is scripted by actor Sajin Cherukayil, who is also playing an important role. As per the makers, it's a "dark thriller" about cyber crimes. The film also stars newcomer Anishma, Dileesh Pothan, Lijomol Jose, TG Ravi, and Vineeth Vasudevan. Dr Paul Varghese is backing the film. Music director Sidhartha Pradeep, editor Akash Joseph Varghese, and cinematographer Sharan Velayudhan are part of the technical crew.

Meanwhile, Girish AD and Naslen are also collaborating for a sequel to their blockbuster rom-com Premalu 2. Naslen also has Khalid Rahman's Alappuzha Gymkhana, Abhinav Sunder Nayak's Mollywood Times and a film with Tharangam-fame Dominic Arun coming up.
