Second look of Thudaram featuring Mohanlal and Shobana is here

The makers of the Mohanlal-starrer Thudarum, helmed by Saudi Vellakka (2022) director Tharun Moorthy, have unveiled a new poster featuring the lead actor and Shobana. The image depicts the actors in an intimate moment, sharing a cup of tea while dressed in simple, traditional attire. Initially developed under the working title L 360, the film is co-scripted by KR Sunil and Tharun Moorthy. It is scheduled to hit cinemas worldwide on January 30, 2025.

Thudarum has a supporting cast that includes Binu Pappu, Maniyanpilla Raju, Farhaan Faasil, and Aanandam-fame Thomas Mathew, among others. On the technical front, the film has cinematography by Shaji Kumar, music by Jakes Bejoy, sound design by Vishnu Govind, and editing by the late Nishadh Yusuf alongside Shafeeque VB. It is produced by M Renjith under the banner of Rejaputhra Visual Media.

Meanwhile, Mohanlal is gearing up for the release of his directorial debut Barroz, a 3D children’s fantasy film, set to release on December 25. He will also reprise his role of Stephen Nedumpally in Prithviraj Sukumaran's L2: Empuraan, the second instalment of the Lucifer franchise, which is slated for release on March 27, 2025. The veteran actor's other upcoming projects include Sathyan Anthikkad's Hridayapoorvam, scheduled for an August 2025 release, Jeethu Joseph's Ram, and the Telugu-Malayalam bilingual epic Vrushbha.
