Darshana Rajendran is Kunjumol in Aashiq Abu's Rifle Club

The makers of Rifle Club, directed by Aashiq Abu, unveiled a character poster featuring actor Darshana Rajendran on Friday. The poster introduces her character Kunjumol shown wielding a double-barrelled gun. The film is scheduled for release on December 19.

Aashiq Abu also serves as the cinematographer for Rifle Club, which is jointly written by Syam Pushkaran, Dileesh Karunakaran, Suhas, and Sharfu. The film's ensemble cast also includes Dileesh Pothan, Vineeth Kumar, Big Dawgs-fame rapper Hanumankind, Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, and actors Vijayaraghavan, Suresh Krishna, Surabhi Lakshmi, Vani Viswanath, Unnimaya Prasad, Vishnu Agasthya, Vincy Aloshious, Ramzan Muhammed, and filmmakers Senna Hegde and Natesh Hegde. It has music composed by Rex Vijayan, editing by V Saajan, and production design by Ajayan Chalissery. Rifle Club is produced by Aashiq's home banner OPM Cinemas in association with TRU Stories Entertainment.

Last seen in the Indo-Sri Lankan joint production Paradise, Darshana also has a Telugu film Paradha, alongside Anupama Parameswaran, in the pipeline.
