The makers of the Unni Mukundan-starrer Marco have announced that a promotional song will be launched on November 29 at 5 pm by Manjummel Boys composer Sushin Shyam. The track, composed by Saeed Abbas with lyrics by Vinayak Sasikumar, is performed by rapper Baby Jean. The film is set to hit theatres worldwide on December 20.

Earlier, the makers released a single titled Blood, composed by Ravi Basrur and initially sung by Dabzee. Following criticism of Dabzee’s rendition, a new version featuring Kannada playback singer Santhosh Venky was released. Ravi, who scored the music for KGF films, serves as the composer for Marco.

Directed by Haneef Adeni, the upcoming film is a spin-off of Unni’s character from the Nivin Pauly-starrer Mikhael (2018). Promoted as one of the most violent Malayalam films to date, Marco features Unni as a cold-blooded gangster. The film's cast includes Jagadish, Kabir Duhan Singh, Anson Paul, Arjun Nandakumar, Durva Thaker, Yukti Tareja, Abhimanyu Shammy Thilakan, Ishan Shoukath, Siddique, and Riyaz Khan. Its technical team includes cinematographer Chandru Selvaraj, editor Shameer Muhammed, and action choreographer Kalai Kingson.

Marco is backed by Shareef Muhammed under the banner of Cubes Entertainments in association with Unni Mukundan Films.
