Sookshmadarshini, starring Basil Joseph and Nazriya Nazim, is set to hit screens on November 22. Ahead of the release, the makers have shared its trailer, which has enough in it to raise our curiosity.

The trailer begins by introducing Nazriya's character Priyadarshini, a cunning young woman who fabricates an experience certificate to secure a job. Soon we see her as a nosy neighbour, who grows suspicious about Manuel (Basil), who recently moved into their neighbourhood. Though the trailer kicks off on a light-hearted note, it gradually shifts gears into a thriller mode as the mystery about Manuel starts bothering Priyadarshini; and us.

Sookshmadarshini is directed by MC, who made his directorial debut with the 2018 film Nonsense. The upcoming film is scripted jointly by Libin TB and Athul Ramachandran. It also stars Deepak Parambol, Sidharth Bharathan, Kottayam Ramesh, Manohari Joy, Premalu-fame Akhila Bhargavan, Aavesham actor Pooja Mohanraj, Merin Philip, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, and Nandan Unni.

The film's technical crew includes cinematographer Sharan Velayudhan, music director Christo Xavier and editor Chaman Chakko. It is produced by Sameer Thahir, Shyju Khalid and AV Anoop under the banners of Happy Hours Entertainments and AVA Productions.
