The trailer of Dev Mohan's new film Parakramam was released on Saturday. Written and directed by debutant Arjun Ramesh, the film looks like a coming-of-age entertainer with prominence for action. The protagonist seems to be a revenge-obsessed person, who eventually finds the true purpose of his life.

Sangita, recently seen in Anand Sreebala, plays Dev Mohan's mother in the film, while Romancham-fame Siju Sunny essays his friend's part. Sona Olickal, who has earlier acted in films like Veyil, Oh Meri Laila and Kadakan, is the female lead.

Parakramam also stars Renji Panicker, and Vaazha actors Joemon Jyothir and Amith Mohan Rajeshwari in prominent roles. On the technical front, the film has cinematographer Salu K Thomas, editor Kiras Das, and music director Anoop Nirichan. It is produced by Millennial Films, with Harris Desom serving as the executive producer.

Dev, best known for his debut film Sufiyum Sujatayum, was last seen in the 2023 film Pulli. The actor also starred alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the Telugu film Shaakuntalam, a fantasy period epic where he portrayed King Dushyanta. Dev will soon appear opposite Rashmika Mandanna in the upcoming Telugu film Rainbow.
