Mammootty and Vinayakan’s upcoming film, directed by debutant Jithin K Jose, completed filming on Thursday. This untitled project marks the seventh production under Mammootty’s home banner Mammootty Kampany, which announced the wrap on social media.
Scripted by Jishnu Sreekumar, the yet-to-be-titled film is rumoured to feature Mammootty in a grey-shaded role. The technical team includes cinematographer Faisal Ali and editor Praveen Prabhakar. Further details regarding the plot and supporting cast are expected soon.
Meanwhile, Mammootty is awaiting the release of Bazooka, directed by debutant Deeno Dennis. His upcoming projects also include Gautham Vasudev Menon's Dominic and the Ladies’ Purse, where he portrays a private detective. Reports suggest Mammootty may also collaborate with Mahesh Narayanan on a film that would reunite him with Mohanlal after more than a decade.
Vinayakan, best known for his performances in Rajeev Ravi’s Kammatti Paadam (2016) and the Rajinikanth-starrer Jailer (2023), was last seen in Thekku Vadakku, alongside Suraj Venjaramoodu.
