The makers of Sthanarthi Sreekuttan, directed by debutant Vinesh Viswanth, have dropped the film's teaser. It opens in a classroom where a student complains to the teacher about Sreekuttan (played by Sreerang Shine), before introducing us to his friends. Sreekuttan is also seen developing a crush on a classmate. The film promises to be a light-hearted, coming-of-age story centred on school life. It is slated to hit theatres in November.
Sthanarthi Sreekuttan is co-scripted by Vinesh, Murali Krishnan, Anand Manmadhan, and Kailash S Bhavan, who also served as the film’s editor. The cast includes Aju Varghese, Saiju Kurup, Johny Antony, Anand, Kannan Nayar, Sreenath Babu, Jibin Gopinath, Ajisha Prabhakaran and Sruthy Suresh, among others. Its technical crew includes cinematographer Anoop V Shylaja and Athiran music director PS Jayahari. Sthanarthi Sreekuttan is produced by Nishant K Pillai and Muhammad Rafi MA under the banner of Budget Lab Productions.
