Kunchacko Boban and Priyamani's film titled Officer On Duty, first look posters out

Scripted by writer-director Shahi Kabir, the upcoming film is billed as an emotional crime thriller

Kunchacko Boban and Priyamani's new film with debutant director Jithu Ashraf has been titled Officer On Duty. Along with the announcement, the makers have also unveiled two first-look posters: one featuring the lead actors and another showcasing Kunchacko Boban with the supporting cast.

Scripted by writer-director Shahi Kabir, Officer On Duty is billed as an emotional crime thriller. The film also stars Jagadish, Vishak Nair, Manoj KU, Srikant Murali, Unni Lalu, Ramzan, and a bunch of newcomers. On the technical front, it has Kannur Squad director Roby Varghese Raj as the cinematographer, Jakes Bejoy as the music director, and Chaman Chakko as the editor. Officer On Duty is produced by Martin Prakkat Films in collaboration with The Green Room, headed by Siby Chavara and Ranjith Nair. The two banners previously collaborated on Pranaya Vilasam (2023).

Jithu, who has previously assisted in films such as Action Hero Biju, Udhaharanam Sujatha, and Ela Veezha Poonchira, is also noted for his acting roles in Nayattu and Iratta.

Kunchacko Boban was last seen in Amal Neerad's Bougainvillea, while Priyamani’s last appearance was in the Hindi film Maidaan, opposite Ajay Devgn.
